Matthew Borghese – AHN Contributor New York, NY (AHN) – A young girl, believed to be in her teens, has no recollection of who she is, where she lives, and who her family is, according to authorities in New York. The New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) and the New York City Police Department’s (NYPD) Missing Persons Squad are calling on Americans to help identify the girl who was found wandering midtown Manhattan on October 9. “We are asking anyone who may know this young woman to help us locate her family as quickly as possible, so we can safely reunite her with those who love her,” ACS Commissioner John Mattingly said. “She is safe with us, and we are doing all we can to help her, but she needs to find her family.” According to ACS, “the young woman is 5′6″ tall; white, medium build, light complexion, short, straight blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very soft-spoken, likes to read and write, and has no discernable [sic] accent.” “I just want to know who I am,” the girl told authorities. “I want to know who I am, and what happened to me.” Article AHN – All Rights Reserved
